Years ago I would have very slowly tried to explain why that is wrong but that it is a good description of what happens although physiologically incorrect (seen in retired powerlifters for example). This time I just told him that would be the equivalent of his clothes turning into butter. Stupidity and ignorance is something I will have none of anymore.
