What no new poll gallup poll posting

PRINCETON, NJ -- The latest Gallup Poll Daily tracking update on the presidential election finds John McCain and Barack Obama exactly tied at 45% among registered voters nationwide..

Voter preferences had been fairly evenly divided for the past week, with Obama generally holding a slight advantage of two or three percentage points. This is the first time since Gallup's May 31-June 4 rolling average that Obama does not have at least a slim advantage over McCain. Obama's largest lead to date has been seven points. Since the changes from Tuesday's results are well within the margin of sampling error, it is unclear at this point if today's results represent a further tightening of the race. The last two individual nights of polling have, however, been more favorable to McCain that what Gallup has shown for most of June. -- Jeff J

according to www.pollster.com, which collects polling data from many polls... obama leads everything but this one.  this is the only poll where mccain is tied.

So either this one is wrong, or the other 50 polls are wrong.  Who knows?

Pennsylvania 48.0   40.3 Obama +7.7
Ohio 47.0               41.7 Obama +5.3

Virginia 44.3           43.8 Obama +0.5
Iowa 47.7               41.3 Obama +6.4


Yep means nothing except McCain has been behind by 5 points mostly everywhere..except the Newsweek poll. I'd love to see their questions ::)

Doesn't look like Obama got much of a bounce from winning the nomination.  I heard some speculate that the smaller the bounce, the stronger argument Hillary would have to be on the ticket.

wait - you're starting this thread with a NATIONWIDE poll.

Then when you're shown that it's the ONLY nationwide poll that supports your position -

you pull out STATE polls to back up your position?

That's weak, HH6, you know that bro.  Start a thread about battleground states and we'll see mccain pwn mccain.  But you're attempting to change the theme of the thread after your initial position was proven wrong in its first response.

MSN just broke the news at 5:05 PM as my spaghetti was cooking.

We all know that nationwide polls mean nothing.  Obama could win 52% of vote and still lose electoral.

You started this thread to gloat about mccain being tied nationally.  You have 1 source out of many national polls saying otherwise. 

State polls are compltely different and the only ones that matter.

Nope I started this poll to show how hypocritical some of u guys are....the polls mean nothing until Oct but as long as the Obamessiah is winning they will get posted here daily...anytime he is loosing tied or anytime he does something wrong...crickets.

Another failing in logic.   Who is posting polls?   I'm not.  I realize they don't mean much.  Then who does that leave?  Strong Obama supporters?   If i was a strong Obama supporters I wouldn't post polls with McCain winning.  Are there Polls with McCain winning?  I'm sure there are.  There are tons of polls out there.

Why haven't you posted them?  Oh yeah, you are not a strong McCain supporter.

So basically, your whole point is moot.   


HH6,  please, can you get something real on Obama.  Like details of his Capital Gains Tax ideas.
