I just did it 51 times.
Such a great post "CalvinH".
I wanted to keep it short and easy enough to understand that even someone with an IQ of 53 would be able to understand
Is that how Sergio got the label "THE MYTH? 1.)Wonder what his bwt was at that time when he rep'ed out the 400? 2.)Of course with advance Weider training he might have done it back in the olden day's.
Why is anyone even discussing this bullshit?I heard the book totally sucks and the 400-50 reps is only one indication why.
i thought sergio's big clame to chest fame was that he NEVER went over 185 on the bench press???
Let me guess he did it while he was home alone in his basement
I'd be surprised if he got more than say 5-8 reps per set with 400-405lbs. Jeremy Hoornstra who is nearly, if not the best 242lb class bench presser in the World right now only gets in the 20-25 rep range with 405.
Is what Sergio Oliva claims he did in his recently self-published autobiography.Anyone here believe this could be possibly true?
It's probably true. If it's on paper, it's truth. Beside, I usually rep out 400lbs for 30 reps, as a nice warm up for my chest routine.
