I'm amazed at how sparse the market is with all the recent busts......

I'm talking about pharmaceutical grade sources.......

The Feds have really made it a mission to put a dent in the AAS market and it's hurting right now.

Even the UG market is bare, alot of people closing shop or taking long vacations.

Never thought it would get this bad.......

Those of you who have reliable sources.........you'd better hold on to them tight and hope they don't get popped or turn scammer.

These are desperate times.

A lot of it has to do with powder prices dramatically increasing along with shipping costs increased quite a bit as well.

It's the combined cost of doing business............not only is the cost higher for powders but the number of wholesale powder sources had decreased.

When the FatCat was caught in Thailand, it scared off alot of people.

US Customs has also put a dent in the amount of shipments getting through.

Certain countries have a hard time sending product to the US.

It's gotten to the point that having product shipped here is becoming too expensive, not to mention re-send policies for seizures.

These sources are passing the costs on to the end user and it's getting expensive.

Agreed. It's still out there...it's not as easy to get as it was 3 or even 5 years ago, but you can still get most things fairly fast...or rather, in a decent time frame. All things, no, but most.

Let the Olympics pass and things will loosen up IMO

If you live in the states then yes things have "dried" up. But as far as living in other parts of the world I think there has never been more access to human grade gear. Especially in Eastern Europe. ICN's for $3/amp?

i don't understand this, for those of us 30 and above, why not LEGAL HRT where you know exactly what you are getting!

underground sources are gettin expensive, seizures going up, and you MAY be getting legit gear, or unsterile peanut oil.... there is clearly no difference. sure HRT is slightly expensive, but no felony charges, no injecting who-knows-what into your body!!!

How is the quality control with the compounding pharmacies/HRT clinics? I suspect they are using Chinese powders sometimes... but I don't know. I do know some of the HRT clinics were prescribing Chinese hGH as per some newspaper articles.

And the clinics aren't totally legal operations a lot of times. If they were there wouldn't have been busts.

Legal HRT = 250mgs of testosterone a month. Hardly enough to elicit muscle growth. Especially if your bloodwork shows a legitimate need for it and is in the low end Secondly, let's say a doctor does prescribe HRT for you. He gets your levels back in the normal range say around 700-800. You decide to take 2-3 times the dose he prescribed and 6 months later he sees that your levels are 4000 ng/dl!!!!!!!!!!!! That would piss most doctors off. Just because you go to an HRT doctor does not mean they are going to condone your steroid use for bodybuilding. Nowadays with the stigma surrounding GH/Anabolics quite the opposite. Doctors practice for the most part out of fear of litigation. We've become a litigious society. All doctors really care about is making sure all their bases are covered so they don't get sued.

2 things here.
1. HRT clinincs use FDA approved powders/chemicals, not chinese crap that would be completely legal!
2 HRT docs are specialists, so its expected they scribe more scripts (like a pain medicine doc writing for narcotics, yes they are going to write more)...also, there is no national databank of perscriptions, so one rarely knows how much of what a doc is perscribing,,,especially the case with compounding pharmacies...
and bottom line, ethical or not, at least you have steroids with a doctor's name on it, should prevent a felony charge...(case happened in FLA, and 3 people were let off...)

How is using Chinese powders to compound pharmaceutical grade hormones for patients legal? It's not at all. And just because it may be compounded in a sterile still air environment, doesn't mean jack squat if the powder is full of impurities to begin with.

The ones compounding the drugs probably do a better job at it than someone filtering it in his kitchen but you still don't know what possible contaminants are in the hormone powders.

I agree that it insulates you at least somewhat having a prescription.

Yup, not legal though the patient is protected legally to some extent.

at least it's doc prescribed, so its not a felony.
