i think the best meal is gonna depend on what your current goal is and what your lean body mass is

my favorite meal is lean ground beef with black beans and flax seed...super sow digesting carbs, super slow digesting proteins, and omega-3 fatty acids.  to me, THAT is perfect.

but what do i know ?  :D

being a natural bodybuilder you should definitely not play down the post workout/pre workout time period dude.

in reality its yoru only real time for making real solid good gains.

and no slow digesting meat is gonna give you that anabolic effect of whey...

just buy the cheap shit dude, and drink like 2 scoops before and after yoru workout

this will help you tremendously

i prefer something easely digestable pre workout like oat meal and a whey shake. at least before back and leg workouts. i tend to get nauseous sometimes on those workouts.

post workout whey shake again. followed closely by a big meal with fish or chicken usually.

My preworkout meal is a protein shake mixed with non-fat milk (300 cals and about 50 grams of protein), along with a banana (100 cals and 2g of protein) chased down with six or seven dextrose tablets and a cup of strong coffee.

My post workout meal immediately after finishing training is a Meal Replacement Drink (about 290 cals, 44g of protein and 22g of carbs) and another banana.

My next meal is about an hour after this which is 120grams of chicken breast with about 100 grams of rice mixed with a low-fat curry sauce.

its fructose big guy, TECHNICALLY A CARBOHYDRATE, yes, BUT HOW FRUCTOSE IS METABOLIZED IN THE BODY IS SUPER DIFFERENT THAN HOW GLUCOSE IS...
(fucking caps lock)

fructose is natures macro devil, trust me on that

learn some basics

(well, BANANA is half fructose half glucose...but still)
