Mind games in the gym
« on: July 02, 2008, 03:48:45 PM »
Today i purchased some under amour workout shorts...jet black...i also bought white no show socks and  black no show socks...now my question to yall is what color tshirt should i wear with my black shorts???...and will my white sneakers be okay with them(black shorts)? or should i wear black sneakers? also what color socks go with what color sneakers?
i find if i think my outfit is mismatched i am stared at in the gym and my concentration is upset...thus leading to poor lifting :-[

Thanks in advance

i think going all black would be cool. but beware that it may give you a slimmer look.

Well, the more jacked you are, likely the more wardrobe malfeasance you can get away with.

hower

going all black might give the impression that you thought a little too much and maybe thats not the msg you wanna send across. so by mixing it up say by throwing in some white socks you will still be 90 percent black but also show people that you didnt think that hard about it

im glad you asked

what i wear depends on what i will train

for high reps days i wear something fashionable, dri-fit, sleeveless. nike etc that kind of stuff very sex tight and hot stuff for the ladies to enjoy. i go for high reps and really the burn and pump and also cardio.

for my heavy days, i prepare for war with the weights. im a soldier and then i have no time for ladies and they know this and respect it.
then i dress in boots, camo shorts, tight army shirt, bandana, dog-tag etc

when you start looking like a soldier you'll start feeling like a soldier and then, Goddamn it, you'll start acting like a soldier.

the shoes are the only thing that matters. for instance if the UA logo is in white, i would go with a black shoe with white on it.

for the gym i would stock up on air maxes and shox. i have over 20 pairs of each in all colors and styles. and no i'm not a homo.

thats a good question

I think i found something to blog about, just in case i get bored of blogging and say goodbye forever to my blog.

Today i was waiting at the lift lobby for the lift to come. And i was getting into the lift when i noticed someone behind me.

She was short and petite. Looks of it should be around 30 years old, with fringe tied up, and very nice dangling earrings.

She wore a black skirt-like top with knee-length black tights (those kind that are quite popular).

So i thought : "wow, she looks really good"..... Until i saw what she was carrying.

She actually carried a pink "Hello Kitty" bag!!!!

The bag is in different shades of pink. The shape is ok, u know, suitable for formal use.

Pink bag with a formal ensemble of black, just spoils everything.

+++++

I've never said that i was never guilty of terrible color matches (i shudder when i remember wearing everything PINK when i was in primary 4, with glasses and shoes and all), and at my age, i won't want to be caught wearing colors that brings a disaster.

yeh naturalwonder, thats good stuff brah

You guys sound like little kids.  Its the gym for christ sake.  You go there to improve your body and attract ladies.  Not discuss what the fuck you should wear and if it matches.  If i have a clean pink fucking shirt and a brown pair of workout shorts, your damn straight ill wear the mother fucking two.

don't tell me what to do....this wannabe "soldier" is very disrespectful to REAL military soldiers. He equates going to the gym as being a soldier. This term should not be used as loosely as he's describing..nobody's putting their life on the line when going to the gym :-\

yes we are

lifting is very dangerous and people have died in the gym lifting weights and many injured themselves

it's a battle ground
