great transformation, I'm really impressed. But what now? how far are u taking this, and may I ask you why? You mean why I transform myself from a beefy muscle hunk into a skinny anorexic? Beats me, I thought that's what bodybuilding is all about. My goal is to get arms and legs ripped, those seem to be the last ones to come in. I only do it for the heck of it and to find out how many bodybuilding myths I can debunk. And thanks a lot for the kind words.

are you dieting for a competition or just to get ripped?
You look pretty lean, why don't you try and add more muscle mass?

The starting point of this cut was not very good, size wise. I have been bigger in the past. I went for it anyway, just for the heck of it. It's only a hobby. More mass on the next bulk, I hope. Right now I want to see how far my current cutting diet can take me.

at 165 you should not be worried about cutting up. You are already a borderline holocaust survivor

Pics of your chiseled, massive, 100% lifetime natural physique? As I said, it's a hobby. My life does not depend on it.

Looking chiseled there wavelength, whats your BF % these days? I've always used the same dieting approach but with cardio and slightly more protein, keen on trying the no cardio and 0.5g protein per lb thing out this time around.

Thanks a lot, Eisenherz! I don't know my BF, haven't meassured yet on this diet, but I was estimated 7%. I think I'm more like 8-9% right now, however. I actually take in about 1g/lb LBM. I know that below 0.5g is not enough for me, I have also tried that some time ago. Cardio never did anything for me except that I could eat a little more on the same rate of weight loss.

I disagree. He is obviously natural, and under the BEST conditions, wont gain anymore than 3-5 lbs of PURE muscle in a year. "bulking/cutting" being natural is very counterproductive. Stay lean, gain slow.

Agreed. Although for a lazy slacker like me, bulking comes naturally sometimes.

just saw this thread. you made some kick ass improvement. So you basically eat one big meal usually around lunch and supplement with protein shakes? Do you lift big or just go in and lift with what you feel like? I know you said you are a slacker and I find myself just going through the motions sometimes because I am a slacker as well. I do not like eating all of the time but of course that is always what you hear when you talk ramping up the metabolism. good job man.

Yes that's right, 100g whey and one big meal. I enjoyed lifting from the first day I started. I have no problem lifting intense, but that's just because I really like it. It only sucks when I'm injured and can't lift heavy, like at the moment. I think ramping up the metabolism via many small meals is highly overrated. I have done that and my current method actually works better regarding muscle preserving. Plus it's just more convenient and psychologically less taxing.

Hahaha, thanks Permabulker! Unfortunally, as a long time nattie with shitty genetics for muscle gaining, I don't think I will get huge any time soon. Being fat and happy rocks though, I have to admit.
