From a performance for dollar point of view, they're pretty good value actually. Can also get the convertible, but the coupe is the pick.

No, your using backwards logic. You could get a 328 for the price of a 135i. The 135i, is faster than a 335i (same engine in both cars), and matches or is quicker than a E46 M3 (and that is the auto). So, for about 6K less than 335i, you get the bulldog of the bunch. Or you could opt for the 128i, which has the same engine as the 335.

328 coupe is a bang for the buck visually and performance.the lines and fr to back good looks with a cool roof line give it a 60,000 to 100.000 dollar sports car look for just around 50,000 .u will not see too many cars with that 'turn your head look' this is one of them.keep the 1 series for the ladies,me and parker have discussed this one already,peace....
