this guy runs a moneymaking website selling and reviewing supplements, matt is the guinea pig for all the supplements he reviews and after 2 years of pumping himself with supplements and spending a ton of money etc. he added 1 rep, even 5 would be fairly pathetic in my opinion.

MattC is probably just maintaining his strenght on the bench because his chest may grow unproportionately in relation to his other muscles.

One coudl look at it like this...

Matt has defeated the aging process by 2 years.

If he was 60 and still doing the sane number of reps/weights he was doing at age 50, that would be a victory, right?

of course, some could argue there is a point where one should be aiming to progress (maybe until age 40 or so?) then after that, you're fighting the digress.  Who knows.
