Many people believe that with the rival split in the industry (the two magazine giants), there is no way that the title "Joe Weider's Mr Olympia" title is going to be given to a non-weider athlete... that there is no way they hand over their name to the mantle of MD to use as they see fit for 11 months. That is a 2007 Martinez can't beat a 2007 Cutler, then no MD athlete will ever topple a Weider guy.

How to do it? Its so easy execution wise , that its unfunny :
All the athletes that are signed with MD , make up the new upstart federation .eg: Wolf, Dex ,Kai , Melvin , Heath , lee priest ,centapani , brewer , fankhouser etc etc...(depends who theyv signed) all withdraw from the IFBB and compete for the MD version of the MR OLYMPIA , whose prize money is in around the vicinity of a million $.
the money will be the draw ANNNND competin with the likes of such caliber athletes
MD has the contact and the backing of nuuuumerous sponsors who are on MD`s side anyway...like gerard dente of MHP AND A HOST of others.Basically the companies will take sides.I would assume for example THAT if a supp companies top guiy is competing in MD`s fed , that they would support MD eg.: Nutrex with Wolf.Have you guys seen the sponsors MD has?

Also i suppose that all those who are fed up with the IFBB would by default support MD`s organisation.I keep on reading on this forum how the experts speak , as if the *HATE* IFBB
It also would depend on how MD structures their org , in term of prize moneys , sanction fees for shows, an amateur division , treatment of athletes ( ltreated like real athletes , with medical , airfares paid for ,salries , a union , promotion is key - meaning trying to get more exposure on TV , working out television deals....etc
There would be a cmplete split in the IFBB , because MD is not a rogue unproven organisation like PDI was , MD is part of the fabric of the industry.Its just a choice.MD doesnt have to make people situp and take notice like what B&A and PDI tried to do , they already ARE PLAYERS.With flex wheeler , dorian , platz etc.. already in their camp they have made ppl
Money is the real lure and bait....and with the contacts MD has , it most certainly could be arranged
