Look at the scorecards. He had massive leads over next place. Coleman is the one who squeaked by on a few points.
To armchair experts things might be close but to qualified IFBB judges, it wasn't.
Of course, we'll have the Coleman and Levrone fanboys talk about judging being corrupt - like they are better qualified HAHAHAHAHA but the fact remains, Yates was always miles ahead in the scoring in a way that Coleman rarely ,if ever, was.
I already mentioned the Olympias that Ronnie won by the skin of his teeth, namely his first one (1998) and his fourth one (2001).
However, he had others where he won going away, most notably #2 (1999) and #6 (2003).
The funny thing is about scorecards is that, on another thread a few months ago, when I mentioned that Ronnie barely won his first Olympia, referring to his three-point victory, I got criticized by two guys (who for some reason can't stand Flex Wheeler), claiming that Ronnie "owned" Flex during that show.
Dorian had his squeaker wins and he had his "why did anyone else bother to show up" wins. The same goes for Ronnie. And one such squeaker win for Dorian was 1994. There ain't no way he was miles ahead of near-perfect Shawn Ray, when he showed up considerably smoother, with 1
1/2arms.
Ronnie had the same jaw-dropping effect on the judges and fans in 2003, that Dorian had a decade prior.
