Author Topic: Come the Olympia: Kai Greene or Dennis Wolf? (Read 11121 times)

I think Dennis will place higher than Kai.

Kai might be more complete overall now with the total package and conditioning, but Dennis (when last we saw him) isn't far off plus he's so tall and wide he's really overwhelming. Dennis might start an Olympia run that lasts 6 or seven years in a year or so.

Plus Dennis already beat Kai a couple of times...though Kai in 2006 wasn't Kai in 2007.
Should be interesting!

I think Wolf will place higher than Kai. My pick will be:

1. Cutler (Mr Muscletech)
2. Dex (just won Arnold, high expectations)
3. Wolf (the type of physique bb'ing needs)
4. Kai (weird)

I find it hard to imagine a world where Kai would beat Heath

as for Wolf, he is taller, wider, heavier, and has a tighter midsection

its gonna be close this year. dex has made some improvements even since the arnold, phil is young and fresh and im sure is going to look better than at the arnold, wolf is still making leaps and bounds since the o, kai is in the same boat as phil is(progressively speakin) and is still makin huge jumps in his physique...jay is ooften overlooked as being an ACTUAL competiotor in this years O based on last years showing...people only include him because of politics, BUT jay is going to come in super tight this year-he has to.

who should win? now thats a toss up. id say victor if he was competing, but hes not; so ill go with either dex or or wolf

kai hasnt got the lines or shape to do any major damage.... he's put together weird, look at him straight on and tell me he's top 6 material

wolf on the other hand, is definatly goin places if he can keep his health and waistline he'll be somwhere near if not on top in yrs to come

as much as we all knock jay, he is massive, his shape isnt as bad as is made out, and he's very complete,,, if he comes in hard, he'll walk it

If, and that's a big if, Dex comes in 5lbs heavier like he says he is going to he's going to be real hard to beat.

I really feel Dexter and Dennis have Olympian physiques. No disrespect to Jay or any of the other guys.
But like others have said...the judges will probably give it to Jay no matter what he looks like. I think they become enamored with a mystique/persona before the guy even steps on stage, be it Haney or Dorian or Ronnie or now Jay.

thing with dexter is, he's got hight against him,,, he just hets dwarfed next to the bigger lads,,, he's about as complete as u can get, but for me doesnt stand out because he's got such a small frame, wolf looks twice as wide as him

I don't know man, for the most part that is true, been looking the same for the past 5 years, yet at the Arnold he definetly looked bigger. Seems to have that eye of the tiger thing going on too with his arnold win and signing with wieder. We may witness Dex taking it to the next level at the O.

hes got good arms but thats about it. his narrow shoulders and weak chest really kill his physique. i think he will place in the top 5 though just because the the hype/politics

It's not mystique; it's the length of time they're signed signed on. I say 6 years for Jay to hold the title. At this level, the main sponsor/endorser has the upper hand. Unfortunate for Kai and the grapefruit video, he will never come close to winning the O.

no way jay will hold the title for 6years. he will retire before then
