i strongly disagree.
just think about it, if he weights 1000lbs, and only 50% of this are fat, what is the rest?
Are you telling me his bones got heavier, or he has 300lbs muscle?
This guy HAS to be 80% bf, this only shows that all bf measurements do not work.
actually, you're correct.
for some reason, everyone thinks that if you've got 250 pounds of lean weight, it means you could just diet down and be 255 diced. that just ain't how it works. if a man is 1000 pounds with 50% bodyfat, ignoring the fact that another 20% is probably water (which still leaves 300 pounds "lean"), the fact is that there's no way he'd maintain that much muscle tissue in the dieting process.
if you've ever seen someone get calipered at a legitimate over-30% bodyfat, you know just how fat that is. getting into the 40% range is ridiculous. if you see a 350 pound powerlifter with a sizeable stomach chances are he's not much over 30%. shawn lattimer got water tested at around 30% when he weighed in that range, and if you google him (look for pictures of him with a goatee) you'd have people on here claiming he's 60%.
there's a real skewed perception of bodyfat on here, and i often think it's because the people who do all the claiming never got tested. i was calipered at 23% when i wrestled in middle school and i was DAMN soft. i'd say even the "fattest" dudes around here aren't much above 25%.
