Is this really news?
« on: July 17, 2008, 05:12:07 PM »
Word is that all three anchors of the major networks (Couric-CBS, Williams - NBC, Gibson - ABC) are going to be tagging along with Barack Obama on his very first trip to Iraq.

Can you say "In the Tank"?   :D

Seriously, does this really tell us anything that we didn't already know?

McCain didn't invite them along.

Obama did.

What does this mean?  tens of millions of sheep voters who don't watch FOXNews or MNSBC all day will have a mental image of obama in a warzone, and will assign credibility to him for it, warranted or not.

Notable... he didn't invite FOX.

mcCain's people were calling it a campaign rally.

McCain said that was wrong of his aides to say that.

Then he said it was up to people to decide.

Two hours later, he said it was indeed, a campaign trip.
