Unfortunately he never evolved with the sport and kept sticking to the gameplan that worked for him a decade ago.
Mark Coleman's a good guy- a little over emotional at times. He dotes on his 2 daughters and puts himself on the line to provide for them. That's probably why he takes his losses so badly since he makes a living from fighting. A few times he mentioned that he was happy that he won because he really needed the payday. Tough life when your performance is counted on to put food on the table.
Kinda tragic not funny
That's why you make MMA, BBing, or any of a number of other minor sports your back up and NOT your main source of income or earning a living.
Go to college, get a 4 year degree under your belt
THEN spend few years tyring to make it in MMA or whatever.
You fuck up, you have a solid degree to fall back on.
IN BBing there is NO MONEY unless you're one of the top 5, maybe top 10 guys.
Do the math-there must be a few hundred pro's right now-and maybe 5 earning a living from it, and only Jay earning
DECENT living.
