I wonder if he will do like most retired (OFF THE JUICE) pros do and bring a box full of pictures of when they were 250 pounds, juiced to the gills and shredded with 5% BF and offer to sign and distribute those instead of a current picture at his 180 pound frame...

so you would prefer an autographed pic of a 50 year old retired baseball player over an autographed baseball card of them in their prime?

At that event, how many times will Kevin have to repeat "Hey look bro, I don't train anymore and I don't eat anymore."

It must be fucken nice to be able to retire to that level from Pro bodybuilding and be just fine with it! Smaller Softer weaker, not many pros are alright with that.

You always see former bodybuilders talk about how they still work out every day, still 235lb etc, still can lift this and that, takes drugs, are on HRT etc, even though they don't look good anymore or healthy and happy, and no one really cares what they are still able to do or not. Bodybuilding is all they have on their mind!

I would say 90% of bodybuilders cant leave, relax, move on, or be happy and lead a normal lives again because of their compulsion and obsession over their physical appearance and working out, eating a certain way etc.

Kevin always seamed to get time off of all that every year. Most bodybuilders are trapped in a vicious cycle grinding away in the gym till the day they die or get a life threatening decease while NO one cares what they do or do not do. It's all in their mind.

BOOOOM! :D

I often question how much weight most "pros" put on, before turning to gear.  I'd lay money, most didn't even gain 40lbs naturally.

Chick is afraid of coming off drugs like Kevin did because his ego would no longer exist at 180lbs.

Trust me - Jay is also going to enjoy slimming down and "doing a Levrone" after the 2008 O. I predict we will in 2009 see a much smaller and slimmer Jay, looking healthy, and enjoying life, with the confidence that he has been there, done it, and has now moved on.

Jay just has to keep consuming his MuscleTech supps and he'll be able to keep 97% of his size, and be in great health as well.

Cheftim - to clarify, he will not just go off "cold turkey" and stop taking all chemicals right after the O. What he will likely do, is start to decrease the dosages, and start to ease off the heavy training, start to ease the calorie intake, and likely increase or maintain aerobic exercise.

I would expect his weight to gradually come down from 260-270 at the O, down to around 220 over the next year. Within half a year, he will likely be only taking maintence dosages of test and GH, and perhaps within a year, I would expect he would ideally want to be off entirely. He is a smart guy, so the reduction would likely be medically supervised, with regular tests done to make sure key indicators (cholesterol, insulin, testosterone etc) are all OK. If he does it gradually, and sensibly, he may actually come out of this looking pretty good. That is the plan anyhow.

But anyhow, for now, I am just looking forward to how he will look when he competes. He should come in looking pretty awesome and massive, (and hopefully ripped).
