BOING
« on: July 21, 2008, 10:39:32 AM »

i sometimes carpool with this dude. every time he gets out of his car, he says "boing!"

personally, I think it's a little funny , but i just ignore it as a quirky habit. It doesn't really effect me or my day at all, and if it makes him happy, more power to him. to be honest, i don't even hear it anymore.

i  have another friend who carpools with us, and whenever the first dude says "boing" he gets flip'n whipped up. always says something like "why the heck do you do that?" or "Do you have to do that every time?" an' goes into these arguments that in the end just tick each other off and cause turmoil.

the boing dude says it's just a quirky habit he has, and the other dude says it's annoying and he should stop.

what's the deal here?

am i being too nonchalant about this?

 ;D

The guy that gets upset probably spends the entire ride thinking "is that sob going to say 'boing' when he gets out of the car?" getting madder and madder with each passing block.

Maybe the boinger has OCD?

to be honest, i kinda do the same thing. whenever i get home and get out of my 'stang, i find myself giving a little groan (whoaa)

i think it started when i tore a muscle in my back about a year ago, and getting out of my car hurt
