You don't really understand football field speed on tv. Even at the real game, it didn't seem anything special.
I just saw a bengals practice clip on espn - WR Chad Johnson was practicing his routes, wearing some white pants... under armour or whatever.
Dude was FAST. Doing his cuts with precision and it was just sick how fast he turned.

Yep. That's why he as well as the others on that field, are world class athletes.

You would take him on your team in two seconds if he was available.

True....but considering yours is one of the better teams out there.....things are looking up. For you anyways....for me . I second that. My Ravens are in for a LONG year. Boller is projected to tbe the starter out of training camp. And I guarantee that Ray Lewis is playing for another team in 2009. 33 years old but he can still thump and there will be another team that signs him to multi-year contract. Lewis will easily play into his late 30's and still be productive. All the fresh young talent in the world can't replace instincts and experience like his at the MIKE linebacker position.

Only if the Vikings get Brett Favre. Tavaris Jackson is not a good QB.

Think so? I think it depends what kind of start the Ravens have to begin the season. Boller should win the job in camp based on experience. If they are 4-4 or 5-3 by the season's midpoint, then Boller will stay under center.

Doesent have to be - imo.... All he has to do is manage the game, and make basic throws. His line, is crazy, and his running game is bad - ass. With the additions they have made this year, I think they will contend. They wont win anything, but they will be in the hunt. The browns have a serious shot at the playoffs.

Yeah, but you have to have a passing game and the Vikings were at the bottom of the league in passing yards last season. Defenders will stick eight men in the box to stop Peterson because defenses won't respect the passing game. Peterson is badass but when he hurt his knee midway through last season, the Vikings could not score points. Having Chester Taylor as a backup was a luxury for them. Bernard Beriian should help but it all starts with the QB.

Jackson will improve... His wr's stunk up the joint last year, and with opponents stacking eight in the box vs Peterson, all Jackson has to do is move the chains. They don't need to score a ton of points, the vik d is going to hold teams.

you finally admit it E Look, I'm just happy to have a football team in Baltimore, you know? I could give two shits that they used to be the Browns. Doesn't bother me. The bottom line is that Baltimore never should have lost their football team to begin with in 1984.
