Is Phil Heath too soft, for being 10 weeks out?
« on: July 22, 2008, 05:38:24 PM »
Phil is a pro and is always known for his excellent conditioning.  However Wolf and Cutler have both looked way sharper in recent pics.  Can Heath get in shape in time?

Most people take long to make dieting less painful or because they lack discipline and know they are going to cheat a few times before they get into the zone, but most pros can probably pull it off in 6-8 weeks, Heath has tremendouse will power he could do it and still be ready 2 weeks out.

Right on target. No lower than 3rd and I am anticipating a 2nd place finish.

Remember how he looked two weeks out of the Ironman?? It's like he grows into the show.

hes not as far along as he was into his ironman prep this year. But he'll DEFINETELY be ready.

Phil in his short career has brought one thing everytime he's competed. And thats CONDITIONING! So im pretty sure his first Mr.O will be no different.

It doesn`t matter what Cutler and Wolfe look like right now..............it`s the day of the show that counts and 10 weeks is a long time to get a lot done.

Yep.  but *IF* Phil comes in with poor conditioning, this image of him ten wks out would mean something.

Probably not.  But if he is, we can 'search' up this thread and discuss the "what-if's".

He's always been in shape.  He grew a LOT this past year before the arnold, then took a pretty major break this year and shrunk down.  he's doing some new things, I'm sure.  If he comes in at the show our of shape, we'll come back to these.  If I had to bet the rent check, I think he'll be diced.

He will be sliced, no doubt about it 240 and wes. The problem is that he has huge arms, narrow chest and an overall narrow look to him. His gigantic arms really overpower his physique. He will look narrow and maybe even a bit on the small side next to Wolf, Cutler and Kamali.
