personally!From what I understand, King Hussein of Jordan is very pro Western. He even married and American bride.
They're actually pretty down to earth and Queen Noor has instituted many reforms in Jordan including improving tremendously the status of women there. I remember when they came to Canada back in 1989 I think it was 89 or 90. They stayed next door at The Sutton Place and they looked like any ordinary well-to-do couple, ...except for the entourage of body guards, the long line of motor cycle escorted limousines flying flags. {lol}
You know they're all trying to get on his good side. Bush has made it so that thanks to 'executive privledge', the white house can do what it likes. You just KNOW that Obama is looking fwd to operating completely above the law, as many here have gloated while Bush has 
Of course they want to get on his good side. after 8 yrs of Bush, they are extremely hopeful there will be a POTUS who wants to repair all the damage the previous one did. There are countries around the world that want to do business with the US, countries in a position to help the US, but who ...thanks to bush and co, instead chose to sit back and engage in schadenfreude. I'm guessing countries around the world would rather prosper with the US than smirk over her trials & tribulations.
