would it be possible to build a functional house out of Legos?

i was in the store the other day and i passed a display of LEGOS, i forgot how much fun they used to be so i bought some and built a LEGO tractor when i got home. this made me remember, one of my lifes goals is to build my own dwelling out of LEGOS, do you think this is possible and would it be cheaper than buying a normal house

There is a guy from my area that gets commissioned up to 50K and more to make lego artistic displays for clients.

he used to be lawyer.

He's one of the lucky one's who found whnat he reallyu loves and makes money from it

Cool idea. I love legos.  I would start with something small first though... like a doll house for your daughter, niece, etc.  Or a doghouse for your pooch.  Take some pix and keep us updated.  :D

lol moosejay thats very true in all honestly everyone tells us we should do, 'what we really love", but in all honesty what we love is just chillin at home with family and getting paid for it not actually going to work somewhere for the da man at a specific time etc,,,,,

They swell and come apart when exposed to water for long periods.  :-\

   Why not? Country folk in the plains a hundred years ago build houses out of cow shit and straw.
