They don't seem to be that popular in the south but when I lived up north chicken wings were a big deal. Places had 5 cent wing nights and the places were packed. people used to actually say "Let's go out for wings". it was awesome. Down here you try to get wings and it's some fatty shit that's been baked in crap KC sauce.

I love chicken wings, I don't have them often but when I pig out it's awesome to get a basket of chicken wings with BBQ sauce

I'm sort of a wing purist. I don't like how nowadays places have those bigger wings like you'd find in a perdue sampler or some shit. I like the tiny ones you can eat like 75 of.

i have traveled all over the world and i will be the first to admit the south doesnt have a lot of wing places.but we are starting to have a lot more in texas.

in texas though,instead of wings we usually do bbq. i am not talking a few hamburgers and some hotdogs,i am talking several whole pigs,and close to a whole cow(and well over $500 in beer).hell the last bbq i went to had over a 100 people at it and was in my friends back yard and it lasted 3 days.

so i guess it is a fair trade-off

I used go to Buffalo Wild Wings and eat 40-50 wings at least 2-3x month in college. After all that hot sauce I made sure I had a few Tums.
