Did Branden Ray's NY Post exposure disrupt his precontest prep?

Brandon Rey isn't going to win his class today.  He came in soft and weak compared with previous showings.  he was cruising to the victory until last week, a NY post article revealed his "unnatural muscles" and employment at CNN.  This surely brought a lot of heat and attention upon Rey, which he probably didn't need in the 2 weeks before his shot at a pro card.

Did it affect his preparation or final showing?

Great Structure on that kid, but he did come in a bit soft, and will now have to wait until the Nationals.

He will need more mass , esp in upper body and I usually prefer smaller physiques.

Refreshing that a top bb has a great job with position
