WEIDER MEGA MASS 2000 AND MEGA MASS 4000

ANOTHER GREAT SUPPLEMENT THAT BORDERS ON STEROID TERRITORY.  I RECALL MIKE MATARAZZO SAYING IN A FLEX MAGAZINE ARTICLE THAT MR. WEIDER PUT HIM ON A CYCLE OF MEGA MASS 4000 AND HIS GAINS WENT THROUGH THE ROOF.  MIKE ALSO MENTIONED THAT HE FAVORED THE DUTCH CHOCOLATE. 

BTW, COULD SOMEONE PLEASE POST SOME PICTURES OF MEGA MASS?  BOTH THE BUCKET AND THE BIG BAG WOULD BE GREAT!

LMFOA!!!  I used to drink that shit every day, twice a day...with 2% milk and a scopp of frozen yougurt....That stuff tasted GREAT!!!!

Yep - I loved the Mega Mass 4000 strawberry flavour - tasted like McDonalds milkshake!

That was on the free videotape that came with a bag of Super Mega Mass 2000 (hosted by Troy Zuccolotto, featuring some average Joe trainers, along with other IFBB pros Lou Ferrigno, Flex Wheeler, and Francis Benfatto).

Weider Mega Mass 2000 and 4000 were pretty much the same product, they just made the serving size larger for the 4000.
The Mega Mass 2000 and 4000 were very inexpensive to make, because the main ingredient was sweet Diary Whey, which only costs like 40-50 cents per lb.A friend of mine who worked for Weider formulated that product.It was one of there best selling products, and also made them a great profit margin.The Mega Mass 2000 only cost like $4 a box to make including packaging.
If you like the Mega Mass 4000 just go buy some sweet dairy Whey, and and your favorite flavoring cocoa or vanilla,then get some sweetener .You can buy Sweeet Dairy Whey online real cheap.The only problem is Sweet Dairy Whey contains a shit load of lactose.

The one thing I didn't get about Giant Mega Mass 4000 was that the protein content varied, based on the flavor. If memory serves me correctly, the vanilla had about 10 grams more protein than the chocolate.

And, the pineapple version has way more protein than either one of them.

That stuff gave me gas so bad, I couldn't tell whether I needed to fart or shit. It was horrible smelling too. I ended up giving that shit away. I was about 18 and working at a cell phone booth and I was stinking away customers.

Great points GeItOnNY!  You are a supplement history expert for sure! I used both versions in University and did the math and found out I was scammed with a larger serving size.  What I could never get though was how they managed to make such a terrible tasting gainer when they had so many carbs to work with!  I had lunch this past week with Paul Dillett and he even commented on the taste and how hard the stuff was to mix! You would think that with all the experience Weider had with powders back then that he could have developed an amazing product.  I used to love Champion's Heavy Weight Gainer 900 back when Mega Mass was popular.  TwinLab's Gainers Fuel 1000 was a great formula also but tasted like garbage.
