How people treat you
« on: July 30, 2008, 12:28:58 PM »
I noticed that people treated me better when I was in shape as opposed to now that I am fat (but getting back in shape).  For example going to clubs I could attract more attractive and a larger number of girls when I was in shape.
Share your experiences.  Are people nice to you now that you are muscular and fit as opposed to when you were fat or real skinny?

I think one could say that generally it is an advantage to be healthy, strong, attractive, rich, and intelligent.

But the benefit to drawback ratio of being excellent in all or many of those categories vastly exceedes the benefit to drawback ratio of sucking in many or all of them :D

When I'm bulking up people will look at me and nod like I care that I have their approval. Now that I'm dieting down hardcore I don't get as many looks, unless I'm in the gym and wearing less clothing. Then everyone's asking what kind of cycle I'm on, how much clen they need to take and whether they should just take T3 and continue bulking forever.

This sort of douchebaggery goes in one ear and out the other. I'm a nice guy on the outside but deep down people don't really mean shit to me. I'll still nod back, give honest answers and make small talk but I don't really care for people outside my circle of friends and family members.

If you are only used to the former, it's still often perceived as a burdon. Just shows you that all perception is relative.

Yes.

But concider this: Make two groups of people, one hot, smart and all of that, and the other group: ugly and stupid and yada yada yada.

Then measure average net happiness output (good/happy feelings  - nasty feelings (oho, cute quantitative representation of a very subjective and diffuse area, eh YAY :D) for "hot" and "ugly" group, and the happiness group probably wins  :D

Eh... this is me a few months ago. It was taken on my birthday and I was a little sick, so I was a bit deflated. I've been cutting super hard but I look the same, I just have abs again. Not trying to pull a sevaste but I was called out as candi's puppet/gimmick so here's another pic. I don't have anything recent because I hate taking gay cell phone pics, and the camera I bought my gf is at her friends. Once I get the self timer function to work I can take updated pics

Definitely not swole or anything. But I did start out at only 100lbs just three years ago, so all the progress is monumental to me.
