ok to use arimidex with clomid?
« on: July 30, 2008, 06:41:20 PM »
I was thinking of low dose arimidex 0.5 mg every third day, and do the 50 x 2 weeks then 25 x one week of clomid

is it ok to use them both?

(the cycle was a small dose of deca 300 and test 300)...

based on my understanding of how test/estro/LH are all connected... i think so ! in fact thats what i would recommend,,,

but guys who have ran pct's plenty of times say , for the most part, that AI during pct is no good.

whats the reason for that? dont ask me  :D

Because post cycle you want to normalize the hormonal profile. You want normal SHBG, not low SHBG. You want normal E, not low E. Sure, while you're taking it your T should increase nicely, but what happens when you drop the drugs?

would post-pct hormonal levels be adversely effected by running AI while getting natty production back up and running?

It's hard to say definitively since so few have blood work done, and out of the one's doing blood work no one does it multiple times during PCT and post PCT period. But on paper it looks like doing lots of AI's might cause feedback inhibition due to high free test. Of course, there's a bunch of ways you could run them - like using AI's with the SERM initially to get things running and then just the SERM for a few weeks. Who knows what is best. There's just not tons of data available.

The only AI I use in PCT is aromasin. There are reasons for this. I dont have time to explain right now, but look  at the drug profile. It will not kill your E, and will not effect liver values, or igf-1. I'm extremely tired so I will post more tomorrow. If I forget somebody PM me if your interested.
