as we know theres not a lot of deaths in bodybuilding

no deaths due to steroids

not a whole lot of competitors cramping up on stage

this tells me people are holding back, not giving bodybuilding their all. bodybuilding is looked upon as a casual thing! people are not ready to die in the gym - or on stage!

how we gonna take it to the next level when people are not ready to do what it takes ? to risk it all ?

we see people go to war in afghanistan or iraq for nothing, but people are not ready to take risks and go to war with the weights? what the fuck ?

for the record, when was the last time someone cramped up on stage ? was it paul dillett ? i bet he was his best when that happend wasnt he? did he got scared? aint nothing wrong with cramping up he just got some bad timing, a minute later and he would've been fine

how come only beasts like ronnie and dorian injure themselves? if you're not on the edge of injury something tells me youre not giving it you're all in the gym! gym injuries is like getting injuried in combat, it comes with the territory. after the battle is won you wear those scars with pride.

the great steve michalik (before he became a pussy) dreamed of dying on stage! now thats the kinda attitude im talking about !

They live healthier than normal people when it comes to food/vitamins/training etc. They don't smoke or drink.

man Bluto you nailed it again, great post man. I agree, I was kind of disappointed, when watching the world of the war series we didn't have a hospital day when Chic was taken to the hospital for deheydration, over use of steroids or a huge injury, where was his heart, it sure wasn't in that show.

bodybuilders dont smoke?

well, maybe not a whole lot of them smoke CIGARRETTES (although back in the 60's-mid 90's a ton of bodybuilders smoked cig's pre contest to help them get shredded)...

but a big amount of bodybuilders...a big amount of PRO bodybuilders.... smoke weed.
