He's the biggest in radio and the Left has no answer for him. I heard that today at the beginning of the show. He definitly has an affect on the political scene. I think his detractors fail to realize that he is an entertainer as well.

His detractors have no sense of humor and no interest in liking him...publically.  But we all know even the LEFT listens to Rush.
