"Athlete" rep
« on: August 01, 2008, 07:08:12 PM »
1. How are reps elected? are they voted in every year? does every IFBB get a vote?
2. Bob is a good guy but shouldn't a current competing pro be the rep?
3. Since BBC doesn't compete his priorities and those of competiting pros are not the same.
4. Shouldn't the current rep post his/her accomplishment annually?
5. Shouldn't the rep actually represent the interests of the BBs and not the IFBB

1. Shawn didnt want the job anymore...so Bob grabbed it to stay active in the seen which in turn keeps him a sponsor.
2. Nobody wants it.
3. They are the same.  Being the rep keeps him a contract which is no different than being on the stage.
4. What's the point?
5. How do you think he keeps his sponsor?

The bottom line is to have some affiliation to the industry to get a cheque.  If it can be done as a rep...then so be it.
Oh...Monica!
