With free markets comes responsibility, accountability, honesty, ethics, etc. Qualities fewer and fewer people are capabale of displaying these days. Same thing with freedom. The more free people are the more they have to hold themselves responsible and accountable. It rests on the individual to do the right thing and make the ethical/moral choices. Again, qualities that seem to fly in the face of our very cut throat, competitive, winner take all society. Capitalism was never meant to be social darwinistic. Atleast not under the umbrella of American ideology. Founding fathers always talked about service before self and the greater good etc. We've put profit over people. The entire principle of free markets rests on honesty.
