Many animals live longer than humans measured in times their age at were they reach maturity. This method is often used in research and scientific studies. Many theorize that humans should be capable of significant longer lifespan based on this.

If you really will make it a mission in your life to live long, lower your metabolism as much as possible. Has not so much to do with size or weight. This explains why the giant turtle lives so long. Giant turtles may be carnivorous, still lives over 150 years on average.   Explanation, low metabolism.

****:THE LIFE SPAN OF ANIMALS

Signs of senility, or extreme old age, are seldom seen in the wild.
Animals living under natural conditions rarely approach their maximum
possible age because of very high death rates due to infant mortality,
diseases, predators, bad weather, accidents, or competition for food and
shelter. For this reason, most of the reliable information about the
length of the life span comes from zoos, where accurate records are
kept and animals live under conditions almost ideally suited to prolong
life. A mouse whose life is measured in months in the wild can survive
years of captivity.

Large animals tend to live longer than their smaller relatives -- but there
are many exceptions. In general, birds live longer than mammals, and certain reptiles the
longest of all. A giant tortoise is known to have lived 152 years on the
island of Mauritius and then was killed accidentally or it might have
lived a century longer. Even our common box turtle rather frequently
reaches the 50-year mark. It is an interesting sidelight that there seems
to have been no change in the life span of dogs, cats, horses and cows
under thousands of years of domestication by man.

The following examples of extreme old age have been chosen from the
reliable records of zoos and aquariums all over the world.

MAMMALS         YEARS
Elephant        69
Horse           50
Hippopotamus    49
Chimpanzee      40
Grizzly Bear    32
Bison           30
Lion            30

Parrot           80
Great Horned Owl 68
Eagle            55
English Sparrow  23
Canary           22
Humming Bird      8

REPTILES        YEARS
Giant Tortoise  152
Box Turtle      123
Alligator        68
Snapping Turtle  57
Cobra            28
Cottonmouth      21

AMPHIBIANS      YEARS
Giant Salamander 55
Toad             36
Bullfrog         30
Mud Puppy        23
Green Frog       10
Newt              7

FISH            YEARS
Catfish          60
Eel              55
Carp             47
Mosquitofish      2

INSECTS         YEARS
Cicada           17
Ant (queen)      15

Locally, in the Lincoln Park Zoo, for instance, the Indian elephant,
"Judy", died last year at 51. "Bushman", the famous gorilla, died there
at 23 years and a pelican at 52. When the Shedd Aquarium was under
construction in 1929 workmen, for a joke, stocked the central pool with
carp. Twenty Eight years later, three or four of them still survived.
Among the native wildlife in our Trailside Museum a gray squirrel has
lived 16 years, a barred owl 15, a blue jay and a chipmunk each 12
years. At the Brookfield Zoo, the pair of chimps, "Mike" and "Sally"
died at 35 and 37 years old, respectively. They still have the same
alligator snapper and "Cookie" the Cockatoo with which they opened in
1934. Dozens of birds have lived 18 to 20 years and hundreds 8 to 15
years. A spitting cobra died after 23 years in the zoo.

all organic cereals and whole grains even ones with evaporated cane sugar

and skim milk on everything

maybe bread or beans something like that when im working or on the go

all cereals have no more than 1 gram of fat per serving

ive come to the conclusion that i was basically running in place with the olive oil or any amount of fat in my diet plus i got sleepier the more fat i had instead of a smarter carb choice substitute. instead

so im actually getting plenty of protien with the skim milk

i do notice a big difference on my max strength like my body never has that full 100 percent power but i do have more awake energy and dont need as much sleep plus my bodyweight is down and another plus is my skin complexion seems bettter and less irritated with higher fats

are you guys jealous of me that im 6 feet6 and eat cereal?

ALL METH.

These are animals that were simply kept in captivity.

If we were to examine all animals not in capitivity, we would find that the Bowhead Whale as a mammal being capable of possibly 150-200 and beyond. With females being reproductive even at 90 plus years.

Side Note:
In May 2007, a 50 ton specimen caught and harvested off the Alaskan coast was discovered to have the head of an explosive harpoon embedded deep under the blubber of its neck. Examination determined the 3 1/2 inch arrow-shaped projectile was manufactured in New Bedford, Massachusetts, a major whaling center, around 1890. This proof that it survived a similar hunt more than a century ago indicated to researchers that the whale's age was between 115 and 130 years old.

That said, I didn`t think humans were supposed to be in captivity.

I'm very sceptical towards organic cereals as there may be increased risk of toxins due to mould:

"Another area of concern for organic-sceptics is contamination with toxic substances produced by moulds called mycotoxins. The Averys say this is more of a worry than bacterial contamination. Crops damaged by insects or weather are vulnerable to a range of moulds. These moulds can produce toxins that contaminate the crop, either as it grows in the field or in storage. The most toxic are aflatoxins, which can induce liver cancer at very low doses if ingested over a prolonged period of time.

'The risk from mycotoxins is much higher for organic produce,' say the Averys, 'because organic farmers use fungicides that are not as effective as the conventional equivalents.' What's more, organic farmers tend not to use any fungicides once the harvested crop is stored.

The Averys cite a FSA survey last year of 30 organic and conventional maize meal samples. It found ten samples were over the 'action limit' for a mycotoxin called fumonisin, six of which were organic samples. They were all withdrawn from the shelves. Two of the samples measured contained approximately 16,000 ppb of fumonisin. Currently, there is no legal limit, although a EU limit of 1000 ppb is under discussion. However, the FSA stresses that it was 'unlikely' that these products posed 'a significant risk to health'."

That is just programmed cell death. But your right. It is not so much the starch as it is the toxins, that cause mutations to occur.

Ok, here is why you get hammered and people post old pics of you that you hate and proceed to meltdown over...in some posts, you sound like you're intelligent and you can at least navigate a Google search, then in others, you've got diarrhea of the mouth.  What gives?

Starch makes you die?  Gimme a fvckin break.  What do you think Gorilla's live on?  Are they carnivorous?

If you don't know, then don't post, post whore.  I gave you kudos before on your transformation, but posts like these make me want to retract any positive feedback given.  I'm sure you could care less about my opinion, and that's fair, but there's not a thread that goes by daily that you don't post your pics or unintelligent babble and that's annoying.  You're no nutritional guru, nor should you continue to receive any credibility in this dept.

Nope!  Just that fatherhood led me to be softer than my liking (excuses, i know) and i wanted to experiment with something for future reference.  Not sure if i'm cut out for competing after my last showing, pitiful!  Maybe when I'm 35 i'll try again.  Saw your recent tricep shot, looking big and cut sir!  How's Jez?
