Intervention has become one of my favorite shows to watch.
Every week they label the person as something...for instance..'The Firefighter' or 'The Rockstar'..

last night it was ..

THE BODYBUILDER

dude was an alcholic, competeted in one show got second and went south from there.

hahahahahah his sister or someone was talking about him and they said...

"He was absolutly disgusting looking...he had viens on his stomach..."

i caught the end of this show, it's a train wreck that i can't look away from. he started back working out at the end but fell off the wagon like 4 days later and got kicked out of rehab...

What a mess. It's not shocking he went the gear route for years. Your typical hot shot in a Corvette who needs to show everyone how great he is.

This type is a dime a dozen in Vegas. My favorite, the guys in a Escalade with a personalized license plate that says "SWOLE" on gear, yet they fail to gain any respectable size naturally.

he's fucked----he'll never stop drinking------did you see the end where it said he got sent home and continued to drink and that little whore who left her husband to take care of him was still living with him even though she said she'd leave him if he kept drinking...enabling girl

I don't like the show and never watch it. I guess I don't like to laugh at people who have fallen on hard times. Why? What good does that do for me? I like to compare myself to the best and try to better myself. I guess for me it is hard to watch that show because for me it is hard enough to deal with the daily grind of life and all the set backs that come with working hard to achieve lofty goals. Why make fun of people who are struggling. I would feel more joy getting him back on stage and kicking ass again. Thats just me though. Shit sometimes I am jealous of the person who can just give up and be a quitter because that is much easier than giving a fuck about puttin a 1/2 inch on your chest, or whatever your goal may be.

I'm assuming this post is directed at me somewhat? Anyway, I don't laugh at other peoples misfortunes very often. Sometimes we all get what we deserve. no point in feeling sorry for him. It doesn't make me any better, what it does is put things into perspective for anybody watching. Stop being immature. Meaning plan the future quit regretting the past.

I've seen this show two times this being my second time. This guy is capable of being something more, if he wasn't so pathetic I wouldn't laugh. He's hung up on his own hangups.

Na, I wasn't calling you out and I haven't even read your post yet but no I wasn't talking to you. I just personally feel the show is lame. Its depressing to me and I get nothing out of watching it and that is just how I feel. I wasn't trying to speak on anything but the show.

just as depressing as it can be it can also be uplifting and inspirational...many of the people do change and go onto completely different lives. teh show is more about that then "laughing at someone's misfortune".
