Author Topic: what do you guys do on weekdays (Read 4398 times)

i got a friend, he grew up down the street from me and we started golfing at the same age.. hes about as good as me/im about as good as him... we both shoot around mid 80's now... and we both shot low 80s when we were young... but this kid, without any practice, when he gets a couple beers in him he is ALWAYS low 70's.. its nuts

There's few guys that I play with that are like that in our mens club. I play with the same group on Saturdays and one dude starts his double jack and cokes at something 8:00am and has like 3-4 by the end of our rounds.....he blows us away damn near everytime. Freaking rediculous.

Kind of, Bloomfield Hills. About 15 miles north of Detroit.

Are you sure you don't mean you're going Thursday? If tomorrow, it's just a practice round.

Yes, I am sure it's tomorrow. That's why I said it was a practice round or pro-am or whatever in my post. It's not like I bought the tickets, my boss just asked me to go with him. For the record, the "event" started yesterday, just not the actual tournament.

I can only go tomorrow. Would love to go and see the tournament, but not enough to pay whatever outrageous fee the tickets are fetching. Tomorrow is free(for me), I will check out the course, have some drinks etc.
