Kevin Nee and Derek Poundstone are probably the two best Americans at the moment along with Phister but they're not at the level as the Russians yet, if either Mark Henry or Brian Siders would give strongman 100 percent they'd dominate.

I think the problem that is going to hinder Nee's career is his height, some of the events in WSM are just made for taller guys.  Not sure how tall he is but looks way shorter than everyone else he competes with.  Strong mofo for sure though.

the main reason the usa dominates powerlifting is down to the fact most the eastern bloc strength athletes are pushed into olympic lifting,, now we dont wanna darg up the usa's record in that do we

nee's on the strongman dead pool. the kid takes massive dosages of lord knows what and passes out in almost every single competition he does. sure he's stronger than all get out, but he's definitely going to pay the price.  :-\
