Tampa Pro Show: Are there any MD athletes there?

 I would venture to guess that if there are any , and any of their athletes placed well , they may refer to them as being "top 3 in the *TAMPA* show" and not the PBW show

I don't think MD has that many "athletes" anymore.  Victor and Kai are both injured.  And Wolf is prepping for the O.  Do they still have Branch?

I don't think MD has anyone in the Europa show either.  And I dont remember seeing any MD guys in that Houston show last month either.

You dont seem to understand Ron , every1 else seems to know that between PBW & MD - there are things.

PBW has the first and biggest radio show. MD's radio show comes along, starts on Sunday, and then moves into the same time slot of PBW's, saying it's only competition. I know. With only a few radio shows out there, the theory of in your face vs working together for the good of the sport is always interesting. Such is life.

But I will be there, covering the show, having fun, getting lots of good pics for Getbig and Bodybuilding.com, plus some good stories.  Allan Donnelly and his crew from Flex Magazine is coming out too, as well as our friends from Muscletime, and some more. 

But usually at the shows, it is important that everyone gets a long, and that the sport of bodybuilding is number one.  I don't even have a problem with John Romano, as he is usually very pleasant to talk to.

the sport doesnt have to be divided whatsoever...but whenever MD gets involved  the natural progression seems to be 1 of division.WHo needs enemies from outside the sport when the ones within seem to cause the problems

Anyhow , MD needs to wake up.I hope Jim Manion or weinbegrer sits down with them and sets them straight

MD is ruining their and their athletes standing in the industry - what would they do to rectify it? Well Romano did suggest dropping the athletes for the athletes sake  You made youre bed , now..

Lately, MD, at least for me, have been cool, in talking to their athletes, and so has Flex.  Look, it is important for these contracts for the athletes, it brings more money for everyone.  But at expos, at pro shows - these athletes should represent the sport and talk to all press. 

However, in the confines of their own private places, they should honor their contracts, etc.  It is that simple.  It makes a competitor look very bad at an expo or show saying 'I cant talk to you', whereas, privat photo shoots, interviews coming up to the contests and so on, columns in magazines is all accepted and understandable.

Jay Cutler is the best and a class act in managing his affairs. At expos and shows, he represents bodybuilding and the good spirit, and still manages to provide value with photo shoots, columbs, and tidbits when not at these events.

Bottom line, it is not as hard as we all make it sound to be.

I've always wondered how that worked... Md guys cannot be interviewed by FLEX, and vice versa, correct?
