let's all think back - this was less than a year into the Bush Administration and so far he'd made his mark by going on vacation

No mention of terrorism or the threat of terrorism.

The day after he received the memo, “Bush seemed carefree as he spoke about the books he was reading, the work he was doing on his nearby ranch, his love of hot-weather jogging, his golf game and his 55th birthday,”

It's really a non-issue at this point.

There is so much evidence and contridictory statements out there.

If you believe a govt would let attacks happen to win control of $50+ trillion in oil, look it up.  most people who have done so believe it was allowed or assisted.

If you believe other governments have done it in history, which they have, but that OUR govt wouldn't, well, that is your perrogative.

Control of $50 trillion dollars (at least) of oil in the 2 nations we've taken so far.

$50,000,000,000,000.  Look at that fvcking number.

Believe what you'd like.  I know you probably didn't believe your classmates in Grade 1 when they told you there was no Santa.  Your parents love you too much to lie to you, right?

yawn.... oil was $35 dollars a barrel  and gas was $1.50 a gallon when we "liberated" Iraq

Today oil is ~ $122 and gas is ~ $4:15

The US economy is suffering through the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression

and, we learned yesterday the the Iraq Government has a budget surplus this year of $79 Billion Dollars

In addition, Iraq has spent a total of $4 billion of her own money rebuilding Iraq,
...while the USA has spent about $24 billion and counting to rebuild Iraq.

Bush broke it, ...so I guess he bought it. Guess whose money he used to buy it?

Mods, could you please merge this thread with "It was 7 years ago today"? Didn't realize it was a duplicate
