20008 Olympic Ceremony was great!

Just watched the Olympic opening ceremony … and what a great job they did … it topped Spain, USA and Greece.

no i am from Bahrain ... our flags are the same just different in color ... we are red and white as seen in the 1st pic and Qatar are white and Maroon (dark red)

I don't blame you, wheather is pretty bad, plus add to that the crazy pollution and you can't breathe.

When you say atmosphere are you referring to the attitude and behavior of the people?  Yeah, we are very different than the people from the Gulf, I realized that when I went to Qatar earlier this year.  Everything, the way of thinking behavior in general.

The ceremony was incredible, perhaps the best ever.

I´m very pleased for the crowd when Spain went out.

PD Let´s wait to see basket between USA, Argentina and..... SPAIN!!

Sadly, the Chinese effort will be overshadowed to a degree by the father-in-law of the US men's volleyball team being stabbed to death by a crazed Chinese citizen.

This shame would have not occurred had the Olympics been here.
