He would have giftwrapped the win for Mccain with this story coming out now.

Unbelievably selfish to stay in the race, especially when word of this came out 6 months ago.

I think it's a pretty safe bet that if he were the nominee right now, he wouldn't have met her at the hotel,
...and he certainly would never have admitted to the affair. He would've did a DNA test and laid it all to rest.

She had sex with other members of the staff... so perhaps her $114,000 paycheck was for something other than youtube releases.

Why in the world would Edwards secretly visit the kid if it wasn't his?  There are pics of him holding it with her, in different places.  You don't secretly sneak away from your wife to see a baby made by two staff members.  You do sneak away to see your own secret kid.

We'll never see a paternity test.  She'll play ball now.
