What he did was not a big deal.  He was very excited. He did it in the moment.  He has been criticized since the day he started MMA.  He finally had a great fight and he was excited.  Get over it

Heath is a bit of a shittalker himself so its not all bad.

This guy is still a BJJ black belts wet dream,  the way he sits on his opponents he is begging to be subbed.  I bet the UFC keeps him from Big Nog for a long time.

I agree. Anyone with good BJJ skills will sub Lesner very quickly. Herring is not that great of a fighter, if you really want to see a beatdown, watch the Fedor vs. Herring fight or the Cro Cop vs. Herring fight. Feder and Cro Cop toyed with Herring and made him look like a can.

Lesner cocky attitude is going to get him hurt.

In six months he has gained two years of improvement. Any decent trainer will break apart the fight and his weaknesses and should spend the next six months working on all the things we all saw when we watched the fight.  The lack of real ground control or instinct, not getting hooks when he should have, all those things.  The next time we see him fight I would put money on the fact that he will be a totally different fighter, just like he was totally different when you compare this fight to the Mir fight.
