pretty pathetic if true..barack and clooney lovefest...

Reports that actor George Clooney is in close contact with Barack Obama — advising him on both oratorical and policy matters — is false, a spokesman for the the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee told FOXNews.com on Tuesday.

The (London) Daily Mail reported that Clooney and Obama regularly chat on e-mail and via text message, and speak by phone at least twice a week.

“They are extremely close. A number of members of the Hollywood community, including Brad Pitt, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, offered to help raise funds for Barack but it was with George that he struck up this amazing affinity,” one Democratic source said, according to the Daily Mail.

But Obama spokesman Ben LaBolt called the story “an inaccurate report” and noted that Clooney’s longtime rep has said the story is old and untrue.

The source reportedly told the newspaper that in addition to speaking and body language advice, Clooney — a pro-Palestinian advocate — is informally advising Obama on Middle East issues, including advocating unconditional withdrawal from Iraq should Obama win office.

Clooney should stick to acting characters, not acting as a politician.

Reagan was very good at delivering effective pauses, looking the camera and world leaders in the eye, and acting like he was CLint Eastwood, even at times he didn't know what was going on.

IMO, if Bush had a good acting coach, he'd know not to pick his nose, use slang terms like "yo", and be a tad more stern in his negotiations with the Ruskies, who obviously don't respect a damn thing we say.

So yes, IMO every CEO, politician, and other person whose image invokes power (or a lack thereof) in a firm with many shareholders should have a little coaching.
