he shut it down at the 85 meter mark. dude could have ran faster. world record.

I dont get why the cut down on the pase just before the finishline, why not do it just AFTER the finish line? :/

Shame Collins did not medal, came so close at 4th, which is outstanding anyway.

His island is even smaller than mine - about 10,000 population total, so is huge for such a tiny place to send someone who did so well.

First guy to run under 9.7. Broke his own world record. Freaky distance between 1st and 2nd. Reminds me of vintage Powell.

phelps has been worldclass for years, bolt had only run the 100m professionaly once before this season and now he is the world record holder and olympic champion.  If he's clean, great... but i've been following track for a long time and usually the "out of nowhere" guys test positive at some point or another.
