Craig Titus 21 to 55 years - Kelly Ryan 6 to 26 years

It's over folks. With time served, Ryan can apply for parole in 3.5 years and Titus can apply for parole in 17.5 years. Here is the breaking news story just out on the AP wire:

Pro bodybuilders sentenced in aide’s 2005 death in Vegas

LAS VEGAS (AP) - Married professional bodybuilders Craig Titus and Kelly Ryan have been sentenced to prison in the slaying of their live-in assistant in December 2005.

The 43-year-old Titus was sentenced Friday to 21 to 55 years. He pleaded guilty May 30 to second-degree murder, kidnapping and arson in the slaying of 28-year-old Melissa James.

Ryan was sentenced to 6 to 26 years in prison. She pleaded guilty to arson and Nevada’s equivalent of no contest to battery with a deadly weapon.

James’ charred body was found in December 2005 in the trunk of Ryan’s burned-out Jaguar sedan in the desert outside Las Vegas.

I guess I'm way late on finding out about the sentencing. Seems to me that Ryan got off lucky with a fairly light sentence.
