BoB without a doubt is the daddy ....

but the best allrounder on this board has got to be BoB.....his heart has beat less times than he has competed!

so he knows how to actually do it and win.... hes competed in 3 diff decades.... so he knows the trends...

he knows the history.... he knows about the drugs.... he knows the rules.... he knows the legends

im sure theres not a lot BOB doesnt know about the iron game!


so overall bob knows more than anyone here and has done pretty much everything firsthand himself

I do not have much knowledge about BB at all.  Anything I know is just from what I saw or experienced which really isn't that much.  I forget so much of the things I have done or learned.  Stuntmovie in terms of knowledge and actual hands-on experience in BB and history has to be my favorite.  He has been there from the beginning of the NPC and gyms back in the early 60's.

for some fukn strange reason i find myself quite liking the threads started by moose..... must be because they are bodybuilding related and he always has something serious/interesting to say....

Dr. Chimps is a veritable cornucopia of lore and knowledge stretching into multiple fields of study, not the least of which is bodybuilding. That primate knows his shit, believe me. There is no comparison.

Plus I don't remember half the shit I do, because I just do it.  I don't think much when I do something and so much comes second nature.  I could do something repeatedly and when asked how I do it or something about it I can't remember.  Back in the early 80's I hung around some of the better known BB's but I was just a kid and really didn't think anything of it.  It's not like I went home and told everyone I was training with Lou or saw Arnold or had lunch with Kenny Waller, Tony Pearson and some other huge guys.   I promoted 2 shows and sponsored many more but I couldn't tell you much about more than that.  I have never ever said I was a bodybuilder or even trained like one.  I ate very strict for one year after Tony the others told me to eat tuna (plain) with lettuce, liver tabs, room temperature water, egg whites (and whole eggs).  But that was it, I liked eating to much.  I don't think I looked bad for weighing 300 though and eating whatever I wanted.  I was pretty strong too.  I thought I should have been even stronger but literally the day after the World Championships I quit training to get stronger.  10 years after my last match I was still pretty strong and in fact incline pressed the most I ever have.  Chic is also very knowledgable.  I know my old friend Gene Mozee is also very knowledgable as is Jeff Everson
