Still play Quake 2 on LAN or against Eraser-bots - a classic.
I prefer Quake 1.

I havent been able to find any servers for q2 tho. I dont think they carry it anymore... did u ever play CTF?

Never play online - only against buddies... it's way more fun and you ain't dependant on a good server near you... we've been playing "Q2DM1 - The Edge" since 99 against each other and it never gets old.
Each one has a distinct tactic known by each other... kinda long married couples on the battlegrounds  :D
CTF is great via Q2, but I prefer simple 4 player matches.
I also made a model of a friend + textures and sounds... we nearly peed our pants when blasting the shit out of it.
Don't dig most modern games...

No, the best game in the entire solar system by far was Shenmue 2 for the Dreamcast. This fucking game was so long and so addictive that I almost failed a class in school. I had 2 repeat examinations because of that f*cking game. :D

oh yes definately.. man we didnt know how good we had it.

I think i said "AFFIRMATIVE" over multiplayer in that game more than i can count.

Do any of those games teach you how to operate under real combat conditions? One of you combat vets who have played these combat games would have to answer this one.

I prefer unreal tournament to quake 3,all the guns had alternate firing modes and even the bots talk shit when they take you out
