He ended fairly strong, but still nothing dazzling.   One notable mention...

"Obama took an unpopular position on a popular war in 2003, and opposed the war.
Lincoln opposed the war with mexico - also a highly unpopular position."

Gore isn't a good outdoor speaker.

here is the thing about that point that i dont understand, obama has made that a big point in his campaign but he went and choose a VP candidate that supported the war.

Most of them with experience supported the war - edwards, hilary, biden, etc.

just curious b/c he made that such a big part of his initial campaign and then he picked someone who supported it.

I can't think of any people with enough experience to balance things, who didn't support the war.  that's how they get 6th and 7th terms lol... choosing popular positions!
