I make over $80,000.  Therefore he is raising my taxes.  Therefore I will not be voting for his dumb ass.  Hope this helps.

Haha. Google 'who would you not piss on if he was on fire." Getbig: It's his own party!  ::)

/you can do better, holmes....

Why is that?

I like their stances... I will vote for who I agree with... and right now, the libertarian party is where I fall in line with.

Fiscal conservatism and social liberalism... Yep... That's who I agree with.

If you make over 80,000.... yes, he will raise your taxes.

If you make UNDER 80,000... which is 95% of the country, he will not.

90% of Americans will pay less income tax under Obama than McCain

CNN posted an article online summarizing the Tax Policy center's report comparing John McCain and Barack Obama's proposed tax plans.  It is available here.

Here is a table showing the change in your tax bill in 2009 vs 2008 if McCain or Obama's policies are fully implemented:

   McCain   Obama
Income    Avg. tax bill   Avg. tax bill   Difference
(O-McC)
Over $2.9M   -$269,364   +$701,885   +$971,249
$603K and up   -$45,361   +$115,974   +$161,335
$227K-$603K   -$7,871   +$12   +$7,883
$161K-$227K   -$4,380   -$2,789   +$1,591
$112K-$161K   -$2,614   -$2,204   $410
$66K-$112K   -$1,009   -$1,290   -$281
$38K-$66K   -$319   -$1,042   -$723
$19K-$38K   -$113   -$892   -$779
Under $19K   -$19   -$567   -$548

Like I said, I'll do better under McCain's plan.  Thanks for the data to prove it, though.
I personally am for the fair tax and a national sales tax. No Income tax.  Used items no tax.  Food no tax.

That way we change ourselves into a savings nation instead of a consuming nation.

I just can`t look at it as what is best for myself.  I have to look at it what is best for the majority of people.

Bush is spending $3,000,000,000 per week in Iraq.

Iraq has a $79,000,000,000 *known* cash surplus they're not spending.  They're hoarding it, while we borrow from china to fight their war.

POSITIONS?
Obama: Time for Iraq to pay their own bill.
Mccain: The burder is ours to pay.

The dollar has dropped 41% under Bush, against teh EURO.

Many rich people are voting Obama because, well, they think US money will be worht more again, when world leaders have more confidence in us again.  They fear another 41% slide in value will make their investments near-worthless.

(Not speaking for your motives of course, just pointing out how obama has some rich supporters)

VERY GOOD POST!

thank you.  i'm a strong constitutionalist republican - i voted bush twice before learning about 911, and seeing his borrow-happy plundering, which mccain now promises to mirror.

"Read My lips, no new taxes" (quote" George H W Bush) And then of course he raised taxes.
Anyone coming into office must raise taxes to pay for interest loans to China, not to mention support social security, education, et al
Think of Doris Duke, when she died, she was worth billions.....she couldn't take it with her.

If you tell me up front you are going to raise taxes, at least I know what is coming.
And yes....earned income in my household is over $80K.

The US dollar is rancid. Anything I see on the ground less than a $100 stays on the ground. Not worth the calories to bend over and pick it up.

Quality has suffered and we have become a throw away society.  Buying new stuff is not the answer and does little but cause inflation.
