Obama is hardly a lock for this position. Please explain why he's been DEADLOCKED WITH McCAIN for the past couple of months.

There was nothing wrong with her speech.  I was impressed by what she had to say and she seemed to have great presence.  She will draw a lot of women to their side, which is great for McCain.

There's no "buzz" involved. Six months ago, Obama led decisively in nearly every poll. And the liberals weren't shy about mentioning it.

Now, (with the exception of this DNC "bounce", which will be countered in a week by the RNC "bounce") Obama is either barely ahead of, trailing, or tied with McCain.

This is going to be a fight to the finish, REGARDLESS of who wins. Your foolish claim of this being a lock for Obama is one that may bite you in two months.
