Palin the Puppet? Gaffe #1 has arrived
« on: August 29, 2008, 09:45:49 AM »
She didn't look comfortable at all out there.  Several times.  Mccain had to "steer" her to face the cameras, take the mic, etc.

Clapping for herself?

Voice shaky.

not a strong speaker at all.

Hyper.  Giggly.  She clapped on the microphone again.

Her husband is an oil man.

Already said "september 11th".   Wait, said September 11th again.

It seems her son both enlisted, and was deployed, on Sept 11th.  Amazing.  Her first gaffe, 90 seconds into a speech.

Kids are named Track and Trigg.  I'm serious.  3 others, I didn't catch their names.

She was an average hockey mom who decided to serve in the PTA.  Then city council.  Then part-time mayor of her town of 6,000 people.

Voice shaky again.  said "Good ol' boy network" and crowd was silent.

her flag pin is HUGE.  ABout 3 inches tall.

Shrill voice.  Points her finger at the crowd a lot.  People won't like that.

She made a fist when talking about Iran.  Overdoing it.
Another fist when talking about Russia.

More finger pointing.  She's gotta stop that.

Swallowing, voice trembling at 12:42... No momentum here.  Coughing now.  No water up there for her.

Must fire hairdresser.  Hair is tied in such a way that bald spot/break on scalp keeps getting shine from lights.

She's sucking up to hilary now.  She wants those voters!  "Grace and determination!  Hilary left 18 million cracks in the glass ceiling - but the women of america aren't finished yet - I am the one chance - we can shatter that class ceiling after all!"

More finger pointing.  Very principal-like.

"Thank you, and I God Bless You" ... Huh?

You could do the same thing with almost any political figure, esp Obama.  You're showing your true colors.

As opposed to a socialist and deceitful nincompoop interviewing for the same?  C'mon man, you're not nearly as objective when comparing these candidates as you pretend to be.

what time is their speech on?  I'll do it real-time as you request.

besides, this was her FIRST public speech for the nation.  This one tells the most about her body language.

Wow, haha umm ok  ::)

Where were you when Obama said "Hell" last week in a speech and had to stop to apologize, or when Osama stopped to think for a word for 2 minutes and started to studder because he could not remember his position on the subject.

lol

Or you could say her image might improve greatly by November.  Doesn't matter since as far as a strategic move is concerned this is excellent for conservatives.

"Just words, just speeches" hahahhaa

Is it a bad thing to be sexually aroused by a politician?

This is unchartered waters for me.  :P

Rest assured, there will be plenty of Biden gaffes, and Obama just can't help himself when he gets "comfortable" around his elitist cronies.  I really like Joe Biden as a person, but the man just doesn't know when to shut up, so he's guaranteed to say something stupid.  Although now that he's a VP candidate, it's likely that the MSM will place Biden on an untouchable cloud much like they have for Obama.  MSNBC has been just downright shameful.

She is a nice looking lady, which is good for the public attention.

I have a hard time believing 240s body language analysis.

"Her boobs seemed to move with her torso, I think she is lying, wait now she blinked twice that is code for something"

haha

Why don't we all join hands and call Obama a socialist?  I wish he were one.  But he's not.

Is Sarah the most qualified person to be VP?

I don't think so.

But what about Obama and his lack of experience?  Yeah I don't know.  Tens of thousands of people trek to see the man speak.  He's got something going on.

Populist issues sell.  Obama knows that.

Let McCain keep pitching to all those worth 5 million+.

Personally, I think she's a horrible choice.

Anyways nobody really cares about who the VP is except for people like us.

What he means is time for you to pick a side and stick to it...  I listen to things I don't like from you all the time 240, but look what these guys do, cry a fucking river when you dish something they don't like.  I warned that it would be like this trying to play the middle, people will try to force you.

Yeah ok numnuts.. Obama is the most left wing of any of the candidates this year.  Liberalism is already borderline socialism and he's the tip of that spear.  Not to mention how hard he's been trying to hide is true intentions.

Being trendy and popular as a celebrity, mostly amongst young people with no clue as to politics, isn't going to win him the spot.

I know a lot of people voting for McCain and none of them make $5 mil so you can keep whining about his pick but let's just wait and see what happens, ok? ;D

No, Hugo, that's not what I mean.

I know that 240's a fiscal conservative and a social liberal (like me) and that he loves his guns.

What I am saying is that 240 tries to come off as balanced and point out the good and bad in both parties but lately he's been on a McCain bashing streak.

You're pissy today. Hangover?

mccain is a lameduck candidate. The GOP knows it will lose and this is the final nail in the coffin. They are paving the road for Obama's presidency.

This plan was set in motion a long time ago
