Anxiety cure

What's your cure for anxiety other than RX drugs and exercise?  Running works well for me but looking for more options.

Just a meditation CD I listen to sometimes.  It usually helps, I'm just trying to hear new ideas.

find out what is giving you anxiety

Your subconscious is telling you something.

IMO anything you do will only be something to suppress it. find out what is causing it, then do the exercise and the rest of the stuff to keep yourself healthy.

Dude sorry about the anxiety. My wife had that for 2 months after her mom had a 5X bypass. she couldnt eat, sleep and hardley could work. I hate to say it, but it somtimes it just takes time, and maybe a good shoulder to cry on :'(

therapy works.  xanax and wine, exercise... anything that gets your mind off the anxiety.  But really, go to a shrink. they, sometmes, can help.

Time and learning to deal with what's making you anxious worked best for me so far. I tried Xanax and it's only good as a sleep aid.  :P

Xanax is not even a sleep med

There is much better meds for that

As someone already said, try to find out what's troubling you and just try and cope with it.

Anxiety medication = garbage; only useful for insomnia.

I Take 10mg of lexipro a day.  Really helps with anxiety/depression.
