Is this Rove's revenge for the slighting of his boy, Romney?

I didn't know anything about this so I just started to look just now.  This is the first thing I found on youtube.  From the articles this guy notes, this was all issue before her pick by McCain as VP.  Interesting, the daughter does look like the pregnant one.

A lady and I were just talking at the gym about how glad we are none of our close relatives are in politics.   She doesn't want America to know she was arrested at a concert for passing a lit joint to a cop and also that she was a playboy bunny.

she doesn't want people to know she was a playboy bunny but she was in playboy :-\  Nobody would care about the joint thing.  I think she's safe :D

She wasn't in the mag...she had worked at some playboy club years ago!

No, it sounds more like a Christian coalition attempt to equate passing off someone else's kid as your own with being a cocktail waitress.

well it's not anything she should be ashamed of.  We all got dirt and this is minor.  If they can't support her for who she is now and look past stuff they would consider mistakes, they're not very christian.

Nah...the point is mainly just what Hugo said...that we all have what some people would consider "dirt."

No...I didn't infer from her that she was ashamed to have people know she had been a cocktail waitress.  I think it was that she felt some people would judge her for smoking weed and also working for (indirectly) what they may consider a to be pornographer.  But some people would see that as "dirt" and some would not.

I agree :)

Being a cocktail waitress is not the same as trying to deceive the public.

I'm not saying that she has, but that's what this thread is about.

I thought your point was around reaching into the dirt of personal lives for politics.  In that regard your point is taken and is valid to the thread.  Unless I read that wrong.

I will say, same as the "whitey" tape and all the other nonsense, if this is not true, it is highly uncool to be all slandering someone's family, especially kids.

That said, I read up on it today and it seems fishy to me. We will see.

I'm in total agreement.

I think she should just deny it.  Odd she hasn't addressed it yet.

Doubt the question's been put to her yet.  it's a pretty surreal thing to suggest.

If this is true, there's nothing here I would personally hold against them.  However this could be an issue for the christians who support her.

"Palin's daughter Bristol is 16 and attends an Anchorage high school. Students who have attended class with her report that she has been out of school for months, claiming a prolonged case of mono."

Bristol looks more pregnant in the first picture than Sarah looks at what would be 6 months in the next picture:

She could be pregnant under that getup; and she could just have a chunky kid.

Only thing is I saw some other pic of Sarah pregnant and she looked like a fat preggo... but some women are skinny, beautiful preggos... but you'd think that in your 40s you'd look more beat up.

Well I would due to her preaching all how she made the decision to have a downs baby, acting all sanctimonious

Also, as a mother it is not something I condone. My stepdaughter is about that age, and is she turned up pregnant I would support her to the ends of the earth BUT expect her to take large responsibility and be a loving mother. Not a good lesson to teach a daughter, "dump the baby and lie dear."

In 2008, the only reason to do that is to protect your own rep, no one burns Scarlett letters on unwed moms foreheads anymore in the "land of the free". If this is true, she it to save face. If not true, cruel for the teenager.

there is also the reports that Bristol was absent from school 4 to 5 months during the period which would be the later months of the pregnacy.

Here's a close up of another image

I don't think this is anything to hold against them.  who cares.  The question is will the "moral majority" clowns care.  they probably would if she were a liberal VP pick.
